Before you start bashing the Pacific Northwesterners and our lack of handling arctic condtions -- please remember that this kind of weather is not something we are accustomed to. We handle the fog very well. We handle the rain very very well. We handle traffic very well. (We have no choice -- Both Washington and Oregon are inundated with folks from all parts of the country because they think it's soo cool to live here), we handle earthquakes just fine. However, typically, along the coast line, we don't see this kind of weather. Where I am -- Portland area, the last time we saw frozen sunshine --it was 1996. And we didn't handle it that well either. We do not profess to be seasoned Alaskanites, or Chicagoians, or Wisconsinites, we are just coffee drinking, seafood eating, tree hugging, umbrella totin PNWers:)

You can take the girl out of Chicago but you can't take Chicago out of the girl. (especially when the only reason she lives here is because the husband does.) You all can take your trees, coffee and seafood....no wait I like the seafood...take the trees and coffee..I want an Italian Beef, deep dish pizza and snow.

I so know what you mean about the Comcast stuff. We had it when I lived in Jersey. Sucks!! Plus they have crappy elevator music on there radio hold system. Now Virgin on the other hand has some really hip hopp'in stuff playing. I got this phone at Super Target for $99.94. Way Cool Times Ahead!!
