i love that movie! when it came out in the theaters, i was dating someone who worked at a theater. he was the manager and we'd go in and watch that and austin powers I over and over again in the middle of the night. it was great. i didn't like him, but i liked his POWER! a whole theater to myself?! ROMY! MICHELLE! ME! (and him, but let's try and phase him out of this memory, k?)

My best friend and I actually went to see it when it came out. We always joked about how our high school reunion would be and while watching that movie, we were like, "Yup, that's us. Losers."

i love that they lie about everything. it's so funny. and lisa kudrow is so vacant in that role that it makes me want to wet myself. they are so diluted that i cannot stop laughing.

I love the idea of that fight. I often think about how willing I always am to play Martha to everyone else's Mary (just to be biblical about it) but I would much rather be Rhoda than Mary. I wouldn't want to be Brenda to someone ELSE's Rhoda though.. Of course, I will force thisendup's character to be happy to play Ethel to my Lucy in perspective of my tv plans. What job would you want? Other than devian's personal assistant? Can you just hang around the set with me to keep me amused? You could be an executive and have at least 1 pug with you at all times.... Of course, my fave part of Romy and Michelle is that you forget how delusional they are in the throes of their big dance which positively rules.
