You're exactly right - I don't know what I want. Back when I was griping about men not knowing what they want, I thought I knew what I wanted. I've realized, after all these men, that what I really should do is be alone. If only for a month - just be completely devoid of all male contact. Either that, or John just isn't who I want to spend my time with, and because I'm divorced and already have experience in that area, I don't want to waste his time knowing that this won't lead to marriage (well, knowing I don't want to stick it out long term with him). But at least I've been honest with John about how I don't want to run down the aisle again any time soon. And I also told him I was uncomfortable knowing he thinks I'm "The One." Gah, what a mess.
