All Of My Days Have Been Misspent
I am continuing to have to hear the husband say EVERY.SINGLE.WEEK. that he doesn't understand why Paula Abdul is qualified to be a judge on American Idol. Hello...Paula Abdul was like 90's pop. Totally...Straight up now tell me...wasn't Paula the shit in the 90's? I had her CD's. I had a t-shirt. I even got her other not as sucessful cd Spellbound, which I love. I am admittedly a Paula fan. I think the husband doesn't get it because he was living in Germany at the time and we all know what people like in Germany. *cough* Hasselhoff *cough*
I sense another Justin Guarini in Matthew Metzger. Damn the guy is attractive and I think that might carry him through the competition a bit. Just like Justin. Justin didn't have the talent. He had the looks. So does this guy and I think he will go on because of the 13 year old girl vote. This makes me sad because people like Lisa Leushcner have to sit there and not get through despite an excellent voice. Sometimes I get way more pissed off at television shows than I should.
