ok, it's weird being referred to as "karen" instead of "spike" in your blog. haha. but i find it hilarious that she's jealous of me. whatevah. just be careful - i don't want to see her hurt you again. (i still think it's lame that she was all "i've been mean to you and i don't know why and i wanted to stop but i couldn't...")

Reason #43,550,539 why female friends are better than male friends: a male friend will do the same thing, but he'd never have the honesty to admit what he'd done and why.

See, I disagree with golfwidow. Guys would just beat each other up and it would all be over and done with and they'd go have a beer. It takes a woman friend to put you through all the emotional manipulations. And my guy friends, well, I beat them up and then it's all over with there, too. ;-)

I don't know Ahley, or Spike or even you but I just feel the need to say something here. It may or may not be similar to your situation. I have a really good friend. I have known her 10 years and we have shared some great secrets. She just told me last year that she's gay. It took me about 6 months to deal with it. Not deal with her being gay. I love her regarless of her sexual preference. I had to deal with the fact that she knew for a year before she told me. That hurt that she didn't feel she could tell me. But I realized that was my fault that I felt bad, not hers. Come to find out, besides her girlfriend, I was the first person she did tell. She said she wanted to test the waters with me because she knew it wouldn't matter to me. Anyway, we are again close and that makes me happy. What makes me sad is that I am still the only one that knows. She still can't share it with any one else, including her family.
