NH: 'Moon Child.' There is a thunderstorm on the soundtrack. Everybody has the same question. From an interview found here: http://www.ugo.com/channels/filmtv/features/noahhathaway/

ohhhh, now that i know the answer i'm bored with it ... "moon child??" ... rather TAME for the name of one so mighty as The Childlike Empress if you ask me. i always expected it would be something exotically beautiful, something worthy of all the passion in Bastian's holler. then again i expected it would remain one of those unanswerable questions that would haunt me to the grave along with the exact number of licks it takes to reach the center of a friggin tootsie roll pop. i must go sob for the lost mysteries of youth now. sigh ... "moon child" indeed!

I think my Chloe kind of looks like a Baby Falcor.

Hee hee.

What. The. FUCK. Moon Child? I repeat: whatthefuck? I think that Childlike Empress is better than that. I am totally with Poppy. I now believe that my entire childhood was a lie. (Moon Child! *pfst*) I can't tell you how many times I have seen that movie, or how much mac-n-cheese I consumed while doing it! Even if I'm NOT satisfied with the answer? I'm all smiley just thinking about the film. Thanks for that :)

I learn something new every day, and sometimes it sucks. I was looking around the Neverending Story sites. I happened to find a site about the sequel, Neverending Story II. I used to watch the kid that played Sebatian in that one, Johathan Brandis, on Sea Quest. I didn't know he commited suicide! He was only 27. He never left a note and he was an only child. How sad. No drugs were involved and nobody knows why he did it.

Jonathan Brandis was gay and scared to come out. Well that'swhat I heard but i wouldn't doubt there's no truth in it, you can't believe most things you hear about Hollywood . . . . he was in Ride With the Devil too.

It's not entirely in the same vein as Charlie covered with blankets (which cracked me up I'll have you know), but once after watching some quality 80's cops and robbers movie (probably a Polica Academy installment) my neighbor friend and I decided it would be fun to put a nylon over the head of my 22lb cat. It was...but really, but the time you get the foot of the nylon over the head of the cat...you have a lot there around it's neck. So, we just kept pulling until we had the nylon version of kitty in a bottle. It was fucking hilarious. (not as funny as accidentally using the pet-away spray for keeping animals off your furniture instead of the flea spray that one time...but damn close.) Glad to inspire somebody to something...anytime.

I love having lots of typos in my comments so people think I'm a dumbass and don't expect much from me. It's safer that way.

I have seen the neverending story more times than I can count on 5 peoples hands and feet. I saw the neverending story 2, and I think they even had a 3 maybe? But I never saw that one. I was always scared at the oracle though...the big cat/dog thing with boobs and nipples...i felt guilt for watching that!
