My divorce was sucky, because I had a restraining order against my then-wife, and the cops had to be present while she moved half of a household worth of STUFF out... *shudder* It sucked rocks. We were civil and all, but still... What I hate worst, are all the people who find out I was married for 13 years- to a woman- and then say something like "oh, couldn't keep pretending you were hetro, huh?" ...you know, people come in all flavors (no pun intended, for the perverted minded amongst you!)... and while I think if I hadn't met her i'd have paired off with a male instead- I DID meet her, and I DID love her, and that was that, you know? It ended because of her mental illness- that I found a wonderful MAN now, doesn't mean that those 13 years were any less sincere. DUH. People can be dorks.

Gawd, how rude. But at least they didn't whip out a Bible and start praying. Cabin-boy is right. So right, in fact, I may just have to read his diary, heh.

Hey there...always be proud of what you are! Don't let losers bring you down or make you feel any less of a person. My brother is gay and I spent a good portion of my adolescent life defending him and feeling as if I needed to protect him from ignorance. The end result both him and I are better people, I have no idiots in my life and I eliminated all the losers that had a problem with his sexuality. Do you know how sick I was of the same question over and over "Is your brother gay"....my reply "Why don't you ask him and see what he says?"...what a bunch of goofs. He is my best friend and one of the most intelligent, witty people I know. Anyone who says anything ignorant or rude simply eliminate them from your life and personal contact. I did that and I have true friends and so does he. Honesty is the best policy and anyone who can not accept that - tell them to go (insert appropriate word her) themselves....LOL Take care and I love your journal - very good sense of humour! I'm glad you found yourself and your path.

My sister got a rescued "buggle" (beagle pug cross) that is the most nicest adorablest dog ever. I keep forgetting to tell you. It was like a $2500 dog that some rich couple got tired of as it left puppyhood. Somebody was nice to her though, because she isn't nuerotic at all.

Gah. People. When I came out to my parents, they rattled off the names of every single person they knew that was gay, in an effort to make me feel better, and then forbade me to speak to my siblings about it, in case I influenced them. Feel free to e-mail me if you ever want to chat. Just know you aren't alone. *hugs*
